We hope you all had a pleasant move-in yesterday! Now that we’re all settled in we can start off all the events that we have in store for this semester.
Don’t forget to come to the Student Organization Performance tomorrow, August 25th, at 7 PM. Our directors have been working hard to guarantee a fabulously entertaining 10-minute play.
Although our body meeting is the last out of all the companies, it certainly won’t be least. If you haven’t joined the event on Facebook feel free to do so (https://www.facebook.com/events/821186197921558/)! The meeting will take place this Friday, August 29th, at 6 PM in the Lisner Downstage. At our body meeting you will have a chance to meet other Genericans, our directors for this season, and our lovely executive board. We’ll be relaying tons of important info, so don’t miss out!
Freshmen: immediately following our body meeting we will have our first night of auditions for our annual freshman showcase from 7-9 PM! We highly encourage you all to come out and audition or get involved. Over 30 freshmen will have the opportunity to participate! We will also be holding auditions from 3-5PM on Labor Day (August 31st) in the Lisner Downstage. Nervous about getting involved? Don’t worry this is the best opportunity for freshmen to ease into GW’s theatre scene.
On Saturday, August 30th, don’t forget to swing by the student org fair between 1 and 3 PM to pick up all your Generic Swag! The Generic buttons are all the rage!
We can’t wait to see you all this week!
Congratulations to the directors chosen! Freshmen will have the opportunity to audition for our annual Freshman Showcase on August 29th and 30th.
